At the confluence of 3 rivers, Pittsburgh is home to 446 bridges. Take a ride up the Duquesne
Incline for a bird’s eye view of the city and its rivers. If museums are your preference, check out the collections in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Andy Warhol Museum, or the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. For an outdoor excursion, consider Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Randyland outdoor art installation, or the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. If you’re a sports fan, catch a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball or Steelers football (winners of 6 Super Bowls) game, if the teams are in town. Foodies will enjoy the eclectic culinary offerings that include pierogies and the locally famous Primanti Bros. sandwiches.
