Pamela Guldi

LMT, CD (DONA)

In 1992, I was licensed as a massage therapist, and after more than 20 years, I am as passionate about therapeutic touch as I was in the beginning. I have practiced in a variety of modalities, including medical & sports massage, deep tissue, Ayurveda, and pregnancy & infant massage. My joy for working with women in the childbearing year began before the birth of my first child in 1996, when I attended doula training through the Florida School of Acupuncture and Midwifery and then through Doulas of North America.

Shortly thereafter, I earned prenatal certification with Carole Osborne in 2000 and began working as a teaching assistant to Carole in 2002. Carole’s techniques and deep tissue sculpting work has shaped my massage practice over the years. The foundation for my current women’s wellness practice was laid with that early perinatal training with Carole, along with having midwife Jennie Joseph support me at the birth of my three children, obtaining certification as a mentor and doula with Birthing From Within, earning certification in medical massage, studying with Rosita Arvigo, and gaining certification in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy. I am the owner and principal therapist of Motherlove Massage in Cooca, FL. Joining Carole’s teaching team and sharing her wisdom of perinatal massage education is an honor.

Pam is knowledgeable, professional and an expert in her field.

In the classroom, Pam is gentle and confident, approachable, available, super knowledgeable, and readily willing to share information from her own experiences. She does not bring a spirit of competition into the classroom, but rather a spirit of “There’s not enough of us out there doing this important work so what can I help you with so you can go help meet the need for quality women’s reproductive, maternity, and digestive support?” It’s refreshing! She is truly an asset to my career.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from Pam. She’s a great teacher!

I am wowed by the number of techniques and Pam’s quality of teaching. I particularly enjoyed the discussion, demos and practice. The course was organized. Excellent! I’m so glad that I attended!

Pam was very knowledgeable with many examples of hands-on techniques. I thoroughly enjoyed the class.

I recently took the four-day Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy workshop with Pamela Guldi, and it was everything I could have imagined, and more! Pamela is so thorough and knowledgeable in her craft. She speaks in such a soft, welcoming tone. She also guided us through the anatomical processes for further descriptions of where our hand placements should go. She takes a great approach to learning: visual, hearing and kinesthetic. We were able to see her work on different bodies, the skeleton, and, of course, each other. I was able to work on two clients for my practicum on the last day, and there was even a cute little “labor lab” where we got to see what massage during labor would potentially look like. After the training, I felt very prepared to go into my practice and utilize the techniques we’ve learned. Though I’m not at her level of experience yet, I now have the toolset to better aid my clients and am so grateful to have learned under her. If you were contemplating whether this is the right course or teacher for you, this is your sign. Phenomenal workshop! Feeling thankful.

Pamela’s class was very fun and was filled with a lot of great information about pregnancy and massage. I definitely am glad to have gone to her class to learn more!

Pamela was an absolute pleasure to learn from! Her many years of experience with these techniques, as a bodyworker, and as a birth supporter, all shined through! Her compassionate heart is obvious upon meeting her. The content in the Pre- and Perinatal CEU course completely shifted my confidence as a prenatal massage therapist. The labor lab was life changing! I HIGHLY recommend this training!
